This is the Colonial Cape where we have lived for 24 years now & where we've raised our two  sons.  It's filled with lots of charm.   

 

 

We enjoy the flowers in the Spring and Summer, and I sometimes use the vines & flowers found in our gardens in the baskets I create.

 

 

 

Norman works hard keeping things looking manicured....something he learned from his Dad.

 

 

 

My friend Janis & I hand-painted "Secret Garden" signs one night.I found the perfect spot, leading into the back yard. 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

We enjoy relaxing and hanging out and even though we are conveniently located in town, we have a wonderful setting that offers privacy.

We really love Maine.  The one thing missing is our family in Florida.  It's a good excuse to go visit in the cold weather.

Norm loves to plant the gardens....I love to decorate them.

 

 

I guess you could say we make a pretty good team!

                                                         

 

We have lots of bittersweet vines and hydrangea on the property from which I've made some wonderful wreaths. 

Mother Nature provides us with so many things to create beautiful designs & it's free!             

 

We had a LOT of snow this winter, and we are looking forward to Spring. Now that it's approaching, we're looking forward to planting the vegetable garden (Norm does that), and pick up flowers for outside,  It's become an annual tradition for us on Mother's Day. :)  

 

We're looking forward to just hanging out in our "Secret Garden"...also, enjoying the Maine lobster bakes!Yummmmmmmmm!
