My visit to see GiGi
I'm sure that most of you remember Louis and GiGi Guilmette who formerly owned Century 21 Guilmette Realty in Auburn, Maine.  We worked together in real estate for quite a few years. Then they retired & moved to sunny Florida.   Sadly, Louis passed away on May 23rd about 5 years ago.   I visited GiGi in  Florida a few years ago on the anniversary of Louis' passing  (she said he had sent me). I truly enjoyed our time together.  She looked incredible, as you will see by these photos.  We visited at her lovely home, then she took me out to a wonderful French Bistro (thank you!)  and we did some shopping after.  We had so much fun, I didn't want to leave!! Besides seeing my family in Florida, this was very special to me.

We had a great visit together!

GiGi still has that artistic touch,
        even in her decorating.

I must tell you that GiGi Guilmette was probably the biggest influence in my life as far as developing a fashion sense and a love of the arts was concerned.

I learned the importance of "accessorizing" using lovely silk scarves, nice belts, and of course, jewelry.  She was always impeccably dressed and well-put together. GiGi was the consumate  perfectionist in her business dealings as well.  I learned so much from her through the years, much of which I still implement today in my business  & in my personal life.

Dear GiGi,
Thank you for your friendship & love through the years.
I was so happy to be able to visit you in Florida, and I hope we can do it  again soon.  You've always been there for me, and you will always have a place in my heart!!
                                        With much love,    Charlene
